In some fortunate instances, however, it’s not willpower but rather chance that spurs this change. If your mission is to lose 50 pounds, yet the pastry shop near the office is too tempting, it becomes impossible to accomplish your goals. Who can live without a bite of those mouthwatering pastries? A bite becomes two bites, and then ten. Before you know it, you have gained five pounds more! But if necessity compelled you to switch jobs, placing your pastry shop outside your daily commute zone, you would by default stop indulging in those delicious delicacies.
