This e-book constitutes the complaints of the 1st overseas convention on wisdom - Ontology - idea (KONT 2007) held in Novosibirsk, Russia, in September 2007 and the 1st overseas convention on wisdom Processing in perform (KPP 2007) held in Darmstadt, Germany, in September 2007. The 21 revised complete papers have been rigorously reviewed and chosen from various submissions and canopy 4 major concentration components: functions of conceptual constructions; thought dependent software program; ontologies as conceptual buildings; and information analysis.

The Chern Symposium 1979: Proceedings of the International Symposium on Differential Geometry in honor of S.-S. Chern, held in Berkeley, California, June 1979

This quantity attests to the energy of differential geometry because it probes deeper into its inner constitution and explores ever widening connections with different matters in arithmetic and physics. To so much folks Professor S. S. Chern is smooth differential geometry, and we, his scholars, are thankful to him for top us to this fertile panorama.

From the computer science perspective these lattices present problems related to computational complexity. A method for computing lattices with descriptions given by sets of graphs, starting with rough approximations (low-level projections) was proposed. The algorithm starts from minimal subgraphs and proceeds stepwise using lexicographical order on lists of extents. In contrast to the previous algorithm which constructs the lattice of graph sets bottom-up (starting from object descriptions), this approach allows one to stop at an appropriate level of approximation (projection), thus saving much time and space.

Wi99]) elaborated in this way. The meet-irreducible elements are labelled by “< 1720”, “< 1740”, “< 1760”, “< 1780”, “< 1800”, “>= 1720”, “>= 1740”, “>= 1780”, “>= 1800”, “simplicity literal”, “simplicity not literal”, “positive simplicity literal” and “noble-simplicity literal” as pictured in Fig. 13. The diagram discloses that the instances of the phrase “(noble-) simplicity” are most frequent from 1780 through 1800. “Simplicity” appears 45 times and “noble-simplicity” appears 22 times in the 111 text sources of this time span.
